The tragic hero and its vital space in García Márquez's narrative

In Garcia Marquez's narrative, the isolated geographical location, determined by the presence of water that delimits the territory, is also a constant topic. The scenario in which the stories take place is, for the most part, a single place, so there are few displacements. Throughout this work, he sought to determine to what extent this can be considered a metaphor for loneliness, in addition to reviewing whether it bears any relation to the history of Latin America. All this allowed us to reflect and understand part of the attitude of the characters. On the other hand, the evolution of the represented universe was also analyzed, to understand what role the temporal aspect plays. Finally, the customs and traditions were determined. All this in order to fragment the cosmos that the Colombian Nobel Prize winner recreates in his novels and his relationship with Latin American history.
