The effects of the biocide Neem (Azadirachta indica) and Higuerilla (Ricinus communis) on the behavior of the bit (Hypothenemus hampei) were evaluated in coffee plantations of the Limani variety in the district of Monzón, Huánuco, Peru at 1100 masl. 2 doses of each biocide (1L and 4L of Neem extract / 20LH2O, 1L and 4L of Higuerilla extract / 20LH2O) were used (absolute control), with frequency of applications at 8 days and sampling at 5 days after each application in the stage of flowering and maturation of the coffee fruits. Among the results, it is observed that the 4L dose of Neem / 20LH2O extract presents a lower percentage of infestation (2.13%), a lower number of brocade cherry trees (1.67) in contrast to the control treatment (10.83%), in terms of the number of bits per cherry tree, minimum ranges of bit are recorded (1 to 1.33) being exceeded by the witness (7.50 bits / cherry), in the possession of attack the B is recorded (1 to 2.75 "bits" is in the penetration channel, that is to say, in the mesocarp of the coffee fruit), as well as the control with possession D (13 "bits" inside the seed and eggs, larvae, pupae have offspring). Keywords: Efficacy, possession and attack of the drill, percentage of infestation, broca cherry trees, Botanical insecticide.
