Abstract

The research had as objective to design a system of interceptor of solid and grease o primary treatment system of residual waters to control the excess of concentration of the parameters established in the Supreme Decret N° 021-2009-HOUSING, that approves The Maximum Admissible Values of discharges of non-domestic sewage into the sanitary sewer system of the restaurants in Huánuco city. Likewise, through this design, the compensatory or additional payment of non-domestic Users for such excesses was avoided, as indicated in Title Three and Fourth of Board Resolution No. 044-2012- SUNASS –CD. In this sense, this study aimed to grant non-domestic users a novel design of solids and grease interceptor in the face of the pollution problem of the Huallaga River as a receiving body of wastewater discharges of our city and thus reduce loads contaminants of our river. Methodologically, it was approached from the perspective of the inductive-deductive method, where the population was conformed by 18 restaurants, with a representative sample of the study constituted by 09 restaurants of the city of Huánuco. The results of the investigation show that the use of the solids and grease  interceptor contributed significantly in the reduction of excess concentrations of the Maximum Admissible Values of the wastewater discharges in the sanitary sewer system of the restaurants of the city of Huánuco, As well as in the reduction of costs assigned to Non-Domestic Users for such excesses.
