The articles received will be initially evaluated by the Editorial Committee according to the requirements and a prior review of the editors. Subsequently, they will be submitted to an arbitration by pairs, for which at least two reviewers are summoned by original article and one for the other sections of the journal, who anonymously and within 20 days will rate the works at the request of the Editorial Committee through a report based on the Evaluation Form provided by the magazine. The type of review is double blind pair. The referees or reviewers issue their qualification and submit suggestions and recommendations on how to improve the article. • Acceptance for publication with major changes
  • Rejected work

Once the qualification, suggestions and recommendations of the arbitrators have been received, the Editorial Committee will decide if it does not accept the publication of the article or send the observations that it considers pertinent to be acquitted by the authors. These observations are sent to the author who is given a period of 20 days to send the modified article. No work will be definitively accepted until all the observations have been clarified and / or modified. When the authors submit their manuscript again with the corrections requested, they must send it in Word format with change control and attach a letter where they will present the modifications made and, where appropriate, the divergent points of view. Depending on the case, Investigación Valdizana may send the corrected article back to a reviewer before considering its publication. If the corrections were not sent until a period of two months, the article will be discharged and will go to the file, notifying the author of this decision. Investigation Valdizana reserves the right to make changes or introduce changes in the article in order to better understand them, without resulting in changes in its content. The correspondent author will agree to the final version (PDF), before its publication.

The average time of the editorial process from the reception of the article until the decision of the Editorial Committee varies between three and five months. The author can request information on the progress of the review of the article, as well as the stage of the editorial process in which his article is found.

In the opinion of the Editorial Committee, articles will be published in electronic format before the respective peer review.
