Explicando integradamente la delincuencia: una introducción a la Teoría de la Acción Situacional

El presente artículo ofrece una revisión general y elemental sobre los principales postulados de la Teoría de la Acción Situacional, como una teoría integradora y moderna al interior de la Criminología, que pretende ofrecer una visión explicativa general y diferenciada acerca de la criminalidad y de sus causas de naturaleza humana y ambiental. El texto concluye con la presentación de los mecanismos explicativos propuestos por el autor de la teoría.
